Empowering women and make them financially independent, spice preparation are an initiative of Balaram Panda Trust. SHG members, rural women and unemployed youths are the constituents of this program.

We organize trainings on scope of spice processing as a micro-enterprise, spice preparation techniques, quality control and food safety, packaging and branding, costing and pricing, marketing and sales strategies and access to government credits. The duration of each training module is around 7 to 10 days.

We provide and organize practical hands on demonstration, groups’ discussions and case studies, exposure visits to local spice processing units. Major Key players of the training program are individuals from DIC and local trainers.
