In today’s rapidly evolving digital world, computer literacy is no longer a luxury – rather necessary. However, in many rural areas, students continue to face significant barriers in accessing basic digital education due to lack of infrastructure, resources, and trained faculty. This digital divide creates a gap in opportunities, leaving rural students at a disadvantage compared to their urban counterparts.

To bridge the gap, BPT has been organizing regular Computer Literacy Programs in rural schools and community centres. The core objective of these programs is to empower students with some essential computer skills, ranging from basic operations (typing, file handling, internet browsing) to more advanced topics like digital communication, online learning tools and fundamentals of coding.
