One of the flagship skilling programs of the Government of India, DeenDayal Upadhyaya Grameen KaushalyaYojna aims at providing training to the population living in rural areas under the Ministry of Rural development. The candidates are provided training for 3/6 months, followed by placement and postplacement support.

With a wide-reaching network and a mission to build a skilled workforce for the nation, we partner with the government, corporates and other institutions to accomplish this goal.
The DDU GKY Training Centre of Balaram Panda Trust is successfully imparting quality training to more than 1000 rural poor candidates from different districts such as Malkanagiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Mayurbhanj, Boudh, Baragarh, Sambalpur, Kalahandi, in different trades etc. and also have provided employment to them.
We have expertise and we are providing Training in Following Trades at DDU-GKY center:
1- Successfully completed 5 Projects.
2- An Additional Project of DDU-GKY is in operation which has granted to the Best Performing Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs)
3- So far we have Trained 5251 girls and boys of rural poor families of Odisha.
4- Amongst the number, we have successfully placed 3486 candidates in relevant Job Roles in various reputed institutes.
5- The Job Roles are Sewing Machine Operator, Sampling Tailor, General Duty Assistant, Electrical Domestic Services, Plumbing and Assistant Plumbing and Food & Beverage Service
6- The Additional Project Target is to train 636 girls from across the State of which minimum 445 candidates has to placed.
7-Under the Additional project, the Job Roles are Sampling Tailor and Home Health Aid Trainees.
