The EDP awareness programs are being organized to motivating the SHG members, increasing
their entrepreneurial mindset, and laying a strong foundation for micro-enterprise
development. Continuous support, handholding and advanced training is highly essential to
convert this awareness into sustainable livelihood outcomes.
“Earlier we were only saving money, but now we are thinking of starting a spice unit in our
group” is a landmark remark of a SHG.
“We liked the games and stories that helped us in understanding topics better than lectures” is
another opinion of a SHG member.
“Now I can sell my pickles outside the village, not only in fairs” by a SHG member.
