We envision a better world emphasizing “Empowering India, Powering the World” with a concept “Live and let live others” to the next generation for better betterment. Our Challenges are to identify-inspire-ignite talents, thoughts and techniques to bring about changes in the whole development scenario. 

Our Core values are “Come Together is Beginning, Think Together for better planning and Work Together towards to achieve best Success”. We are well aware that problems and issues are in need of solutions, and because of that, we are here to make the best use of our collective wisdom and strength.

The trust begun its operation in the year 2006 with a holistic vision, striving with an objective to impart quality training as well as placement through DDU-GKY scheme (A dream Project of MoRD, Govt. of India). Presently, theOffice-cum-Training Centre located at HIG-150 (K6), Kalinga Vihar, Patrapada, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, 751019.

Balaram Panda Trust was established in the year 2006 with a holistic vision for improvement of quality of Education & village development. The Trust runs a state of the art Engineering college named Gandhi Institute for Technology ( GIFT), Bhubaneswar and is actively Involved in CSR activities  in the Peripheral Villages. The Trust is financed by NABARD for Social Service Activities. The Trust is involved in Skill based Employment to the rural youth under DDU-GKY scheme since July 2014.

Registration under the Employees Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 on 01-07-2007 with Registration number OR/BBS/13375 and registration under the Professional Tax Act on 23-03-2011 with registration number BCP-II-342.

Balaram Panda Trust owes its origin to the ViswaBharati Educational Trust, which have thrived since 1996 and presently runs a Educational Institutes of very high repute in the name and style of “Gandhi Group of Institutions” which is a house hold name in Eastern part of Odisha.

The Balaram Panda Trust was floated by 4 of the Trustees of the above mentioned ViswaBharati Educational Trust and began its operation in the year of 2006 with a holistic vision for establishment of education, village development & other charitable institutions. 

Since its inception Balaram Panda Trust has been working for the poor & rural people of Odisha in different sectors like health, sanitation, child welfare, and women issues etc.

Some of the projects have been financed by NABARD, MSME and other institutions in addition to its own funds and donations from philanthropic persons. From the year 2007, the Trust is also running an Engineering college of Repute in the name and style as “Gandhi Institute For Technology, GIFT, Bhubaneswar” at Gramadiha, 17 km pleasant drive from Baramunda, Bhubaneswar in the year of 2007. The institute is reputed for its quality education.

In the pursuit of its commitment to Social responsibility, the CSR wing of the Trust have tied up with the ORMAS, Odisha for implementation of the Skill development project of MORD Govt. Of India under DDU-GKY scheme.  Located at Plot No.- 27/2100, KalingaVihar, Patrapada, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, 751019, the DDU-GKY unit of the Trust has successfully imparted quality training and also provided employment to them. More than 700 rural poor candidates from different districts of Odisha, in different trades etc. 
In the Project 1 of ORMAS which have  been completed in November 2015,
the Training have been imparted in trades like Industrial Sewing Machine Operators (SMO), Plumber, Hospitality & ITES.

Due to exceptionally good quality of teaching and infrastructure, we have been rated as Grade “A” Project implementation unit. The Project 2 has been sanctioned for a student strength of 1000 nos in December 2015 and we have already trained more than 400 candidates and expect to complete the
training in August 2016.
